Nurses' Burnout in the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit During COVID-19: A Literature Review

The COVID-19 pandemic is a clinical threat to healthcare workers and the general population. Nurses maintain closer contact with patients than other members of country. Therefore, nurses are at increased risk infection, their physical mental burden has doubled. A comprehensive review needed examine nurses’ burnout during pandemic. Our research follows guidelines Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis. We conducted article searching through international databases such as PubMed ProQuest from January November 2020. Of total 820 articles detected, five were reviewed. results data extraction analysis found that feelings felt by included emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, lack personal accomplishment. concluded experienced high levels pandemic.
